This 3rd book in the series has been sent off to the publishers and hopefully will be ready for Christmas. This book is set on the beautiful Hebridean island of Gigha. Gigha is situated just off the west coast of Scotland between the Kintyre peninsula and the Island of Islay. It is only 20 minutes by ferry from Tayinloan.
It is a tiny island only 6 miles long and 3 miles wide with one main road running through the middle of it. The book is called the beach of the winds but this is a made up name and the beach in question, the beautiful sheltered twin beaches is properly called EILEAN GARBH.
The Isle of Gigha was named by the Vikings ‘Gudey’, The Good Isle or God’s Isle. It is beautiful, tranquil and has a real sense of community. It is now owned and run by the Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust.
